Terminal 1 Airside now has more space, extra seating, additional catering outlets and a much wider selection of shops in a light, bright environment. While perhaps not to everybody's taste, it is undoubtedly an improvement. If you have to wait anywhere for a flight this is a pleasant place to do it.
The additional seating area 'beyond the fish tank' in the transit area is quieter, offers tabletop pay phones at your seat and has a number of stretch-out seats. A great improvement.
Toilets: Toilets with disabled and baby changing facilities are available at each end of the lounge.
Pay Phones: In various areas. New table top payphones in the additional seating area past Café Select.
Currency: Two Bureaux de Change, Thomas Cook (open earliest to latest flight) and ICE (open 06:00 - 21:00).
Smoking Area: In middle of lounge.
Postal Services: There is a transparent mail bin as you clear passport control and enter the Airside lounge. This is your last chance!
A reasonable selection of catering outlets includes table and self service restaurants, snacks, a seafood bar and two bars.
